Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and payment issues are handled for BinomLabs services.
Last updated:22.06.2026

BinomLabs provides computational molecular prediction, computational biochemistry analysis, experimental decision-support reports, free pilot projects, paid reports, subscriptions and custom molecular R&D support.

Because many BinomLabs services are custom digital research services prepared for a specific scientific project, refund conditions depend on whether work has started, whether a report has been delivered, and whether the service was a one-time project or a subscription.

1. Free Pilot Projects
BinomLabs may offer selected laboratories, biotech teams, pharmaceutical R&D teams, CROs or academic groups a free pilot project.
Free pilot projects are provided at no cost.
Because no payment is collected for a free pilot project, refunds do not apply to free pilot projects.
BinomLabs reserves the right to accept, reject, limit, postpone or discontinue any free pilot project at its discretion.

2. Paid Computational Reports
Paid computational reports may include:
  • antibody–antigen interaction analysis;
  • protein–protein interaction analysis;
  • binding affinity-related ranking;
  • mutation and residue prioritization;
  • protein stability or developability-related analysis;
  • biochemical reaction direction analysis;
  • molecular assembly pathway ranking;
  • inhibitor, ligand, ion, salt or metabolite effect analysis;
  • experimental-condition prioritization;
  • ranked validation hypotheses;
  • custom molecular R&D decision-support reports.
For paid computational reports, work begins after payment and after the project scope and input data are sufficiently confirmed.
A refund may be considered if:
  • payment was made by mistake;
  • duplicate payment was made;
  • BinomLabs is unable to start the project;
  • the client cancels before any computational work has begun;
  • the purchased service cannot be delivered due to reasons under BinomLabs’ control.
Once computational work has started, or once a report, analysis, presentation, data summary or other deliverable has been provided, payments are generally non-refundable because the service is custom research work prepared specifically for the client’s project.

3. Custom Projects
Custom projects may involve multiple molecules, variants, ligands, inhibitors, protein complexes, assay conditions, experimental datasets or collaboration stages.
For custom projects, refund terms may be defined in a separate quotation, invoice, statement of work or written agreement.
If no separate refund terms are agreed, refunds are evaluated based on:
  • the amount of work already completed;
  • whether project analysis has started;
  • whether a report or partial deliverable has been provided;
  • whether BinomLabs has already allocated expert time to the project;
  • whether the client has provided the necessary project data;
  • whether the service cannot be completed due to reasons under BinomLabs’ control.
If a custom project is cancelled after work has started, BinomLabs may retain the portion of the payment corresponding to work already performed.

4. Subscriptions and Recurring Payments
If BinomLabs offers subscription-based services, the client may cancel future billing according to the cancellation instructions provided at the time of purchase or through the relevant payment provider.
Cancellation stops future charges.
Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period unless otherwise required by law or agreed separately.
If a subscription includes access to reports, research-support services, membership materials, priority review or other recurring benefits, access may continue until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
Refunds for subscription payments may be considered if:
  • a duplicate charge occurred;
  • a technical billing error occurred;
  • the client was charged after proper cancellation;
  • BinomLabs is unable to provide the subscription service.
5. Digital Products, Reports and Delivered Files
BinomLabs reports and deliverables may be delivered as digital files, PDF reports, presentations, summaries, ranked tables, interpretation notes, figures, diagrams or email-based analysis.
Once a digital report or custom deliverable has been delivered, the payment is generally non-refundable.
This is because the client receives access to custom research output prepared specifically for the submitted project.

6. No Refund Based Solely on Experimental Outcome
BinomLabs provides computational prediction and experimental decision-support services.
BinomLabs does not guarantee that any molecule, antibody, protein, mutation, inhibitor, ligand, assay condition, biochemical pathway or experimental branch will produce a specific wet-lab, clinical, commercial, regulatory or financial result.

Refunds are not provided solely because:
  • a later wet-lab experiment produces a different result;
  • a biological system behaves differently than expected;
  • an experimental validation does not confirm a predicted priority;
  • a client decides not to continue with the research direction;
  • a client’s internal project priorities change after delivery.
Biological and biochemical experiments may depend on many factors outside BinomLabs’ control, including sample quality, assay design, reagent quality, laboratory conditions, biological variability, experimental protocol and interpretation method.

7. Client Data and Project Readiness
The quality and usefulness of BinomLabs analysis depends on the quality, completeness and relevance of the information provided by the client.
If a project cannot proceed because the client does not provide required data, provides incomplete data, or does not respond to reasonable requests for clarification, BinomLabs may pause the project.
Refunds in such cases are evaluated individually and may depend on whether BinomLabs has already started the analysis.

8. Payment Errors and Duplicate Payments
If you believe that you were charged incorrectly, charged twice, or charged after cancellation, please contact BinomLabs as soon as possible.
If a billing error or duplicate payment is confirmed, BinomLabs will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue or issue a refund through the original payment method where possible.

9. Chargebacks and Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, we ask that you contact BinomLabs directly so we can review the issue and attempt to resolve it.
Unresolved chargebacks or disputes may result in suspension of access to current or future BinomLabs services until the matter is resolved.

10. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact BinomLabs by email within 7 days of payment.
Refund requests should include:
  • your full name;
  • email address used for payment;
  • organization or company name, if applicable;
  • date of payment;
  • amount paid;
  • service purchased;
  • reason for the refund request;
  • payment confirmation or transaction ID, if available.

11. Refund Review Process
After receiving a refund request, BinomLabs will review:
  • the service purchased;
  • whether work has started;
  • whether any deliverable has been provided;
  • whether the payment was made by mistake;
  • whether a duplicate or technical billing error occurred;
  • whether the service could be delivered as described;
  • any applicable written agreement or invoice terms.
BinomLabs may request additional information before making a decision.

12. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved, it will usually be processed through the original payment method where possible.
Refund processing time depends on the payment provider, bank, card issuer or platform used for the transaction.
BinomLabs is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors or third-party payment platforms.

13. Third-Party Payment Providers
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers, merchant-of-record services, subscription platforms, invoicing tools, donation platforms or other payment services.
Refunds may also be subject to the rules, processing times, fees and limitations of the relevant payment provider.
Any payment-provider fees, currency conversion fees, banking fees or platform fees may be non-refundable unless required by law or determined by the payment provider.

14. Changes to This Refund Policy
BinomLabs may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
When we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Updated terms become effective when posted on the BinomLabs website.
